I’m proud to share that I serve on the Board of Directors for the Pathways/Senderos Center, a community organization doing deeply meaningful work for youth and families in New Britain, Connecticut.
Since 1993, Pathways/Senderos has supported young people experiencing poverty through a comprehensive after-school program designed to address the root causes of teen pregnancy while helping students build brighter futures. Their approach goes far beyond a single program—it’s a holistic model that supports academic success, career preparation, family education, health resources, and self-esteem development.
What makes Pathways/Senderos especially powerful is the way they build a parallel family structure for the youth they serve. Through long-term relationships, mentorship, and consistent support, the organization helps students graduate from high school and develop the skills and confidence they need to become self-sufficient adults.
Serving on this board is incredibly meaningful to me. I believe deeply in investing in the next generation—especially in communities where access to opportunity can shape the trajectory of a young person’s life.
Organizations like Pathways/Senderos remind us that leadership doesn’t just happen in boardrooms or conference stages. It happens in classrooms, community centers, and after-school programs where young people are given the tools, mentorship, and encouragement to believe in their potential.
I’m honored to contribute to a mission that supports youth, strengthens families, and helps build stronger communities for the future.
